PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Newman has been an HVAC design engineer for over sixteen years.
He offers extensive experience in the design of HVAC commercial and industrial
facilities. He received his LEED AP Certificate in October 2007, and has been active
in the
LEED process and Commissioning ever since. He
has designed HVAC
systems for LEED buildings, including
the LEED modeling
and template process.
He has also been extremely busy as a Commissioning Authority for both LEED
Fundamental
Commissioning Projects and
LEED
Enhanced Commissioning projects;
creating Commissioning Plans and Prefunctional Tests, and creating and overseeing
Functional Tests, are just a
few of the tasks involved with that process.
In Octoper of 2009,
Mr. Newman became
certified in LEED AP Building Design
and Construction. In January 2010,
Mr. Newman
earned the Commissioning Process
Management Professional certification
from the American Society
of Heating,
Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
