MIRIAM LASTRA

Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Ms. Lastra has over three years experience in design specification and
construction administration of Plumbing, Fire Protection and Medical Gas Systems
for commercial, industrial, residential, educational, libraries, schools,
health care, and other types of facilities.  Her project experience ranges from
new construction to renovations.

PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer, Mrs. Lastra's responsibilities include
design and layout, complete Plumbing calculations including water supply, storm, and
equipment sizes, design of plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm,
domestic water distribution systems, and purified water systems, and design of medical
gas systems, compressed air, vacuum, and natural gas systems.  She also designs,
selects, schedules, sizes and specifies basic Plumbing system components which includes
plumbing fixtures, drains, and equipment.  Finally, she is responsible for the
design and selection of fire protection systems and equipment.
